Chad Albrecht

School of the American Rifle Instructor & Master Gunsmith
(443) 371-3057

Born and raised in Glen Burnie, MD. Chad enrolled in the Scotts Gunsmithing Apprentice Program in 2003 under the tutelage of Master Gunsmith Scott Scharf. After completing the program in 2004, Chad joined the Scotts Gunsmthing Team as a Gunsmith and served in that capacity for an additional 10 years.
During his years of Training and Gunsmith assignments, Chad took an affinity to the AR15/M16 Platform and developed a reputation as the Baltimore/Washington area’s premier AR15 Gunsmith. To date, over 11,000 AR15's have been serviced by Chad in his capacities as a Gunsmith and Technical Instructor.

In 2013 Chad began the foundations for an AR15 Armorer & Build Training Program named "School of the Gun" which eventually became "School of the American Rifle". After countless hours of labor, development, and personal funds, the Course has now come to fruition.

Chad is dedicated to guiding his students to develop a deep and thorough understanding of the AR15. The training philosophy is simple, we strive to give each student an intense and intimate understanding of their AR15 that rivals the knowledge that many professional Gunsmiths and Armorers possess. We have a passion for teaching and creating a SAFE, professional, and enjoyable learning environment. Our technical AR15 courses make it possible for the beginner, novice, and even seasoned AR15 owner to explore the AR15 in a challenging, engaging, and encouraging hands-on classroom experience.
